PRC Racers,
- The event is sponsored by the Porsche Owners Club. This is the club that we will
probably be a formal part of next year. NASA has been invited to participate in the event
and they have been given one (1) run group of 25 cars only. They will run the advanced
Group 3/4 (mostly open passing).
- If you have run with this club before in the time trial group, you can enter the Laguna
event as a time trialer. Signup forms will be posted on the PRC website in the next day or
so.
- If you have a POC Racing license or POC Provisional license, you may enter the Racing
group. no exceptions to this, especially for this event (as it will be sold out)
- If you have never run w/ the POC before, you should do the following:
1) sign up with NASA for the Group3/4 run group here:

do this right now - there are only 25 cars allowed into this group, first come, first
served
2) send an email to Rick White (chief driving instructor) at RICKIZED@aol.com Tell him that you want to start the
POC evaluation process, that you are signing up in the NASA run group and you want to be
observed during the Laguna weekend.
3) During the weekend, begin a dialog with Rick White (chief driving instructor) and Chris
Burns (race chairman) and get to know them. they are the ones that approve all drivers for
the race group, no exceptions. don't politic around them, work with them.

This event is 92db sound. Plan accordingly. For those that dont know, Laguna is extremely strict regarding sound. You usually get 2 opportunities to fix the problem, the 3rd time, you're done for the day.
