PRC members,
here's the deal with the POC event July 14/15:
This is a combined event that is being run by the Porsche Owners Club, with VARA (Vintage Auto Racing Association) attending as well.

- POC has extremely strict requirments to race in their race group. They will not allow anyone to bypass the licensing requirements until they have seen you drive. That means that to attend this event at TH, you have to enter the Time Trial group, not the race grp. No exceptions. Trust me on this, I'm in sales - I tried everything. However, if you have completed a total of 6 (six=5+1, no less) PCA club racing events (only PCA National club racing), they will allow you to enter the race grp.

- That said, once you enter the tt group, they will check your skills out and decide on how to proceed at the event. it is unlikley that you will enter the race grp at this event since they are combining both their fast and slow race classes into one grp and only have one tt grp. However, if you attend future POC events, there is a chance that you will not have to go through all of their strict licensing requiments.

- If you're going to do the event, bring a racing resume with you. Include all racing and time trial event info on it. it will increase your chances of getting into the race grp in the future.

I've scanned and uploaded the entry information and entry package. I wish I had more concrete answers regarding the race grp. FWIW, i'm going to enter the TT group and hope for the best.
